Dr. Anvita Pandiya is a seasoned expert in quality assurance and Good Clinical Practice (GCP), known for her unwavering commitment to quality by design for over 30 years. Holding the esteemed certification of a six-sigma green belt, Dr. Pandiya possesses a profound understanding of the drug development process, quality systems, bioethics, and regulatory requirements.
Her journey began with medical training at Grant Medical College, Mumbai. She went on to practice as an anaesthesiologist and gynaecologist over a span of eight years. With a remarkable career spanning more than three decades, she retired as a senior quality leader from Novartis, leaving an indelible mark as a representative of Quality at both site and global leadership levels.
Dr. Pandiya’s wealth of experience extends beyond her role as a quality leader. She has served as a sub-investigator in trials covering diverse therapeutic areas, played a pivotal role in establishing the clinical research unit at Apollo Hospitals Delhi, and conducted training for investigator sites and ethics committees across India. Her global impact is evident through auditing activities in over 30 countries and providing quality oversight to clinical operations at Eli Lilly India, as well as leading quality for all global development functions (comprising over 2000 associates) based in Hyderabad for Novartis.
